Vee Speers.

Vee Speers is an Australian born photographer who has work on display in many galleries internationally. I was lucky enough to come across some this fantastic work in Stockholm, and I thought that it was simple, graphic, and striking.
The photos above are form "The Birthday Party" which features a collection of portraits, all with wonderful colours, and a hint of sophisticated seriousness.
You can see more of the collection here, and also find a list of galleries with work near you.

Pretty porcelain.

fauna lamp
candle stick base

I just love the form and simple shapes of these porcelain candle stick bases and fantastic fauna lamps.
They are so chunky and so white and so simply beautiful...
I have just used the candle sticks in a photo shoot this past week, and I would love to own a pair!
The part I like best is that they are handmade by Norwegian based Sara Skotte, who creates fantastic and exciting porcelain pieces that give a nod to nature, tradition and grapic shapes - a great mix!

You can see more of Sara's work here on her website, and also at Kvist and Norway Designs here in Oslo.
Fantastic!

Three Potato Four is an online shop feating collected and found items that are mostly antique and always for sale! They have such a great selection of products that have been carefully chosen, and make up a beautiful arrangement of one of a kind things…
So excellent for hard to find items like old wooden letterpress type fonts, taffy hammers, or even a handmade cricket box!

So beau!

This is the marvellous work of ceramic artist and installation designer Annabelle Adie.
Her work is so bold - and so fantastic!
I am entirely taken by her use of material...she uses ceramics in such a special, intelligent and new way! Plus, the execution of her ideas make my head spin and the idea of using ordinary materials in an extrodianry way is beyond inspiring to me…
I want every single piece of her work in my apartment!

Check out her very cool website for many more beautiful photos…
I could only imagine how much impact her exhibits would be when viewed in person!
